The new CD is out NOW and has been picking up some extremely positive reviews (e.g. The Guardian). If you haven't done so already, I strongly urge you to nip over to the band's official website, where you can listen to 2 tracks from the album as well as watch several new videos.
And finally, I've added the credits to the full sixth (and possibly last!) series of Doc Martin (see Mini-Series: 2010s for details).....

Well, the long wait for Blue Touch Paper's new album Drawing Breath will soon be over! It's slated for a UK release on 14th October and contains 12 brand new compositions. 2nd September 2013:
Durung 2012, Colin scored three theatre productions: Old Money for Hampstead Theatre, directed by Terry Johnson (starring Maureen Lipman), Educating Rita, directed by Emma Lucia for Clwyd Theatr Cymru and . Hysteria for director Terry Johnson (again!) at the Theatre Royal in Bath - which subsequently went on a UK tour. This year saw him scoring the music to Salt, Root and Roe for Kate Wasserberg, again for Clwyd Theatr Cymru.
2013 found Colin working with Jazz Bigband Graz, as well as performing his Hamburg Harbour Sound and Vision with the NDR Bigband in Hamburg, Hannover and Marseille.
This summer Colin began work on the sixth and final series of the much loved television comedy Doc Martin. It begins it's run on ITV1 on 2nd September 2013 at 21.00, and is reported to be the last series ever! Enjoy while you can.....!
In October 2013 Colin will release the second album with his European 6 piece band Blue Touch Paper, entitled Drawing Breath, followed by a tour in the Spring of 2014. The album was recorded during November 2012.
In 2012 Colin scored the third series of the German television crime thriller Flemming for Phoenix Film in Berlin, also feature length drama Dinge, die noch zu tun sind for the long running crime thriller series Tatort for Wiedeman and Berg.
