Behind the mask is the UNOFFICIAL website devoted to all things Colin Towns

The main purpose of the site is that of an information centre, and as such is intended to inform visitors of all Colin's work past and present, as well as to keep abreast of all his forthcoming releases, future projects, concerts and anything else that may be of interest

To this end, the site will be updated periodically - just how often I'm not sure!

Colin is one of Britain's most prolific composers, and is in great demand both nationally and internationally for his TV and film scores. However, he is also inextricably linked to a wide range of productions, from commercials, animations, theatre and documentaries

In the 1990s Colin created his own record label, Provocateur Records, through which he has released many of his own jazz albums, as well as those by many top contemporary jazz musicians such as Guy Barker, Alan Skidmore and Andy Sheppard
