Waking The Dead - episode synopsis

Below is a synopsis for both episodes of the pilot for Waking The Dead:

• Episode 1 - DCI Boyd and his team are under pressure to investigate a five-year old 'cold case' of a teenage girl's abduction, rape and murder. But as they begin to work, they inadvertently inspire the killer to strike again. And, unbeknown to Boyd and the team, the murderer has a hidden agenda - to take revenge on them. A chilling mindgame ensues

• Episode 2 - DCI Boyd has the body of the original victim exhumed so the team can perform new DNA tests which may provide vital evidence. They work around the clock, trying to solve the first murder before the current abduction goes the same way - but Boyd soon realises that the maniac is playing for more than just money
