Mobile - episode synopsis

Below are the titles and synopsis to all three parts of Mobile:

• Episode 1: The Engineer - A gangster is shot dead while talking on his mobile, then two phone masts are blown up - is there a connection? Police start receiving disturbing messages to the effect that mobile phones are the instruments of Beelzebub and anyone using one is a legitimate target. But who's behind the series of brutal and spectacular crimes and why? Could it be Eddie Doig? He blames his job as a mobile phone engineer at Corsoncom for causing his brain tumour and now he wants someone to pay

• Episode 2: The Soldier - A soldier in Iraq is sent home after his wife and young child are killed in a hit-and-run incident. Soon after he receives the devastating news, he is sent a text message which claims to know the identity of the vehicle's driver. He begins to seek revenge, enlisting the help of his terrified grandfather as he carries out his mission. But is he the mastermind behind the Beelzebub plot, or is he just following orders?

• Episode 3: The Boss - Sir James Corson, ruthless boss of Corsoncom, is locked in a bitter struggle with communications magnate David West over corrupt business dealings and tragic personal betrayals. The person responsible for the death of Maurice Sloan's family is finally identified and the real mastermind behind the Beelzebub mobile phone terror campaign is revealed
